2. Traffic volume. No matter how well designed your website is, it is all useless without any visitors or traffic. Obtain traffic data from the owner of the website whenever possible and other important details such as the amount of revenues generated by the website over the period of its operation to make sure that the website you are about to purchase will be able to bring you profit in the future.
3. Pagerank and backlinks. Generally, a domain name with a higher pagerank (measured from 0 to 10 by Google) and a higher amount of links coming from other websites will often get ranked higher in search engine results since it is more credible.
Buying and selling websites is certainly a great online business opportunity that does not require a large sum of investment. Always look for domain names or websites which fulfill the above criteria and do not forget to continue developing and building the domains that you had bought to increase the chance of profiting rather than making a loss.
